About the Presenter:
Thomas Kohnen is Professor of Ophthalmology, and Deputy Chairman and Head of the Refractive Surgical Unit and the Frankfurt Vision Science Lab. for physiological optics, Klinik für Augenheilkunde, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University, Frankfurt, Germany. Professor Kohnen´s research interests include clinical and experimental cataract and refractive surgery, particularly excimer surgery and implants to correct refractive errors, cornea and glaucoma.
