About the Presenter:
Dr. McNamara joined ISTA as Director, Medical Affairs in November 2004, and now is the Vice President of Clinical Research and Medical Affairs. Dr. McNamara has over 17 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry with increasing levels of responsibility in Medical Affairs at Bristol – Myers Squibb, Searle, and Amgen. He also served as CEO of PRN Inc, a contract research organization. Prior to industry, he spent 8 years in academia including appointments as Associate Professor at the St Louis College of Pharmacy and Sanford University, and Clinical Pharmacist for the Program on Aging at Jewish Hospital and Washington University, School of Medicine, St. Louis.
