About the Presenter:
Muhammad Usman Saeed MBBS, FRCOphth

Dr Muhammad Usman Saeed entered ophthalmic training in the UK in 2000. After Basic ophthalmic training (BST) in London, Kent and Leeds, and acquired memberships of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (London) in 2004 and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2005. He was subsequently selected for the 5 year higher surgical training programme in 2005. Dr Saeed completed his higher surgical training in 2010 by passing the exit examination of the Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Dr. Saeed is the author or co author of 17 peer reviewed publications in journals like JCRS, Eye, British Journal of Ophthalmology, European Journal of Ophthalmology, Graefes Archives & other publications. He has also published in non peer reviewed journals (2). His main interests are cataract and refractive surgery, vitreoretinal diseases of the eye including VR surgery and medical retina.
